Never Enough is a solo premiered in November 2025 at Théâtre de l'Onde. It is a dance performance that delves into the themes of displacement and the search for identity, blending contemporary dance, digital art, and electronic music. Inspired by the personal experiences of Taiwanese dancer Shihya Peng, this project traces her journey from classical and traditional Chinese dance to contemporary dance, discovered in the West. This artistic journey reflects her desire for emancipation from traditions and her quest for freedom. Over time, a longing for her homeland emerged, heightened by family events and geopolitical changes with China, giving rise to this deeply intimate work.
